FellaRide is a technology marketplace that connects individuals for private, non-commercial cost-sharing carpooling. It does not provide transportation services, own vehicles, employ drivers, or guarantee rides. All trips are private peer-to-peer arrangements where users voluntarily share travel costs without profit.
No. FellaRide is not a rideshare or taxi service. Drivers cannot profit, rides are not dispatched, and FellaRide does not assume responsibility for ride completion or quality.
Anyone 18 years or older (or the age of majority in their province) with a verified account can use FellaRide as a driver, passenger, or both.
Download the FellaRide app on iOS or Android, enter your name, email, and phone number, and verify via one-time passcode (OTP).
Verification is optional but highly recommended, especially for drivers. Verified users receive a badge that increases trust and visibility.
Verification is completed through Persona, a third-party provider. You submit a government ID and selfie for identity and liveness checks. FellaRide does not store your documents—only verification status and expiry dates.
Go to Settings → Account to update your name, phone number, vehicle details, emergency contact, or preferences. Keep all information accurate to avoid ride issues.
Communities are trusted groups such as workplaces, campuses, neighborhoods, or interest-based circles where rides are shared.
You may join up to 5 communities.
Leaving or removal automatically cancels any active rides or requests in that community. Removed users cannot rejoin that same community. User once leave the community may not be able to access community data if rejoin.
Many communities have group chat forums for coordination and discussion. Use private chat for payments or sensitive details.
Open Post a Ride, choose one-time or recurring, set route, time, available seats, vehicle details, and preferences, then publish to your communities.
Yes. FellaRide supports daily commutes and recurring schedules.
Use Search a Ride to filter by route, time, date, and community. Review driver profiles and chat before confirming.
If you don't find a matching ride, you can post a ride request. Drivers and passengers in your communities will see it and can respond if a match becomes available.

During an active ride, you can enable live tracking to share your real-time location with co-passengers.
The SOS button notifies your designated emergency contact with your live location. It does not contact emergency services. Call 911 for immediate danger.
After a ride, users can rate each other. Ratings help build trust and community reliability.
Ratings may be edited within a limited time window after submission.
You can report concerns to FellaRide support. Repeated misuse of ratings may lead to moderation action.
Cancel in the app as early as possible. Frequent cancellations may impact your account standing.
